I recently joined an organization called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. It's a non-profit organization offering free infant bereavement photography for families who have stillborn babies. A volunteer photographer goes to the hospital to take professional photos of the baby. Reading the testimonials is so touching, and I feel that it is one of the few truly helpful things that can be done at a time like that. Please keep it in mind so that if you ever know someone experiencing this type of loss, you will know of something to offer or suggest.
Some of these are my new favorites! Erin and Sean were so photogenic and so much fun to take pictures of! They're getting married on Friday, so I'll get to do some more then!
A couple of cute girls...Ashlyn and Emma! They were so fun, and Ashlyn is a natural model. She had some GREAT poses!! They are both completely adorable! You may recognize them from a few months ago, because I was lucky enough to get them again!!
For Emma's pictures this time, we took her downtown to a location I've been wanting to try for quite awhile, and I absolutely loved it. She was so fun coming up with her own ideas, "take a picture of me here! How about I do this?" Sometimes she'd actually do the pose I was about to tell her to do, so that tells you how much experience she has with me! She here she is along Main Street and at the Mesa Arts Center. I'll also put the whole shoot on my website under recent work...because it is really hard to choose only a few to put on here...she is my only daughter, after all.
I took these almost a month ago of our friends, and I didn't realize I'd never posted them!
Wow, it's really hard to choose just a few...
Brynn is pretty much my favorite girl in the world, after Emma. And she has such cute skin and beautiful eyes, she is a joy to photograph! (Small wonder, considering those cute parents of hers, right?)
