Sneak Peak...M+J

I'm back from my maternity leave! ...and my first photo shoot was an old friend from school days! I was so excited to do these, in Flagstaff, in the FREEZING cold! I got to wear my hat and gloves, but these two totally braved the FIFTEEN degree weather! And it was worth it, I'd say...they turned out great. (Also I was relieved to see that I do actually remember how to use a camera after about five months off!!







I can't wait for the wedding!

P.S. I just realized I forgot to watermark these with my logo. Nobody steal them! I don't want to go back and do it!! :)

My Pretty Girl

Here's the beautiful reason I've been off duty for a few months...

Annie Kay was born November 2 and is just perfect!
I'm lucky to have a sister-in-law/best friend who came to help me out through the end of my pregnancy, labor, and post partum experience...who just happens to be a photographer.

Miss Annie is already 2 months old...here are a couple I took more recently!




As for my availability now...I'm having a hard time imagining ever getting back to as much work as I was doing before Annie. I have a 16-month old and a 2-month old at home now, and not much gets done around my house. It's one thing to go and do a photo shoot; quite another to actually get them edited and posted. I have a very limited amount of non-baby-time, and lots of that time is already spoken for!
So I'll be getting back to this veeeeerrry gradually. I did raise my prices recently, and quite honestly that's partially to make it more worthwhile to me, and partially to cut down on jobs. I'm sad to see any of my clients have to go to someone else, but my family has to come first.
I look forward to seeing some of you in the coming months for shoots!

On Leave!

I've been put on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. See you in January or February!

Three Sessions left!

If you're interested in scheduling an appointment in October, here's what I have left:

Wednesday, October 6: Tempe Old Towne Square (This location has been changed from Mesa Arts Center)
4:00 pm
4:40 pm

Saturday, October 16: Mesa LDS Temple
8:40 am

The sessions are 30 minutes long and you get 15 images. The session fee is $125, and that includes 25 Christmas cards OR half price, $75, on the CD.

After these sessions, I'm on maternity leave until January or February!

Garden Fairy

What a sweetie! This little thing was ADORABLE from start to finish and her brilliant mother brought THREE outfits, one of which I thought was to die for!!! Loved it!

Sweet Baby Girl

This baby is too sweet. I did newborn pictures of her big sister less than two years ago...I love love love how I get to document families growing up!! It's amazing!

Married!

Our lovely couple is now married! It was a beautiful morning at the temple and once again they were a fabulous couple to capture! Congratulations, Mac and Carissa!

Fall Availability

Here's my schedule for fall photos. Please keep in mind that other than weddings or newborns, this will be my ONLY availability until January. As you can see, some slots are already taken {updates on open slots can be seen on my website calendar} , so contact me as soon as you know what you want, because when these are filled, I'm done till after I have this baby!

Oh, this boy has got some cute lips on him!! Such a doll. I love these sweet little newborns...I just want to cuddle them!

AZ Newborn Photography {sweet boy}

I have a special place in my heart for adoption, so photographing this little family with their second adopted son was a sweet experience. AND I got to see what it'll be like for me to have kids so close...these boys are almost as close as mine will be! :)
